Transitioning into the music scene she has been featured in Rolling Stone and i-D Magazine for her latest single

Her videos on youtube landed her the opportunity to open for Dermot Kennedy and Joy Oladokun on the Better Days Tour. Lala has sold out her own solo shows on both coasts, headlining iconic venues such as, The Viper Room, SOB’s, Piano’s, and The Bitter End. Currently the popular streaming service Tidal founded by Jay Z and Beyoncé, named Lala one of their rising artists of 2023 featuring her on their Rnb & Pop playlists!

Most recently she completed filming two upcoming projects to air on BET starring herself, Jackeé Harry, Tommy Davidson, Tichina Arnold, and Tami Roman where she’s combining her passions of acting and music by getting multiple original compositions placed on the soundtrack as well as portraying singers on screen in an upcoming thriller for Paramount+ and previously in Spike Lee’s Civil Rights Film Son Of The South.

COMBINING PASSIONS

Growing up as a child actor Lala is very familiar with being on screen, her latest and proudest achievement has been pitching herself for the soundtrack of any on TV/Film projects she's been part of!

Most recently she landed 4 original compositions on the BET+ Original Film "So Fly Christmas" which airs on Thanksgiving Day 2023 in the prime time spot!

Lala has also portrayed singers in her roles in Spike Lee's Son Of The South, as well as the upcoming TV movie "One Night Stay" coming to Paramount+ singing other original works such as 'Maybe'  and 'Lover Delirium' which she released last year on all streaming platforms!
